Icon Language

This was an interesting project in that it required designing a language of icons to represent different data sources.

We started with the basic database cylinder and went from there. Color, position, shape, symbols and volume were all used to communicate meaning.

The icons were then used in flow charts and presentations. A portion of them are shown here.
